Privacy Policy

Sheetpulse is a Google Sheets add-on that copies statistics from your beehiiv newsletter into a spreadsheet you choose. It is operated by HatchMoon, Indonesia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the add-on accesses, why, and what we do with it.

Information the add-on accesses

• Your beehiiv API key. You paste it into the add-on. It is saved in your Google account's private add-on storage (Apps Script user properties), visible only to you, and used only to request your data from beehiiv.
• Your beehiiv statistics. Publication names, subscriber counts, and per-post data such as titles, subject lines, publish dates, delivery, open, click, web view, unsubscribe and spam-report counts, content tags and link URLs with their click counts. We do not request individual subscriber email addresses.
• Google Sheets. The add-on reads and writes the tabs it creates (Overview, Posts, Growth and any sponsor-report tabs) in the spreadsheet where you use it. It does not read other files in your Google Drive.
• License key (paid plans). If you buy a paid plan, the add-on sends your license key to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, to check that the subscription is active. It stores the key and the result in your private add-on storage.

Google permissions and why we need them

• See, edit, create and delete your spreadsheets: to write synced data into your spreadsheet, including during the automatic daily sync, which runs when the spreadsheet is not open.
• Connect to an external service: to call the beehiiv API and the Lemon Squeezy license API. No other services are contacted.
• Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars: to show the Sheetpulse sidebar.
• Allow this application to run when you are not present: to run the optional daily sync.

Limited use of Google user data

Sheetpulse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models. No person at Sheetpulse reads your spreadsheet data.

What we collect on our side

• Purchases. Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, processes payments and shares with us your name, email address, country and order details. We never see your full card details. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.
• Emails you send us. If you contact support, we keep the conversation to help you.
• Beta sign-ups. If you join the beta list, we keep your email address to send you product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Error logs. Google may record technical error messages from the add-on in its own logs. These do not include your API key.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with the services needed to run Sheetpulse (beehiiv, Google and Lemon Squeezy), or when the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

• Click Disconnect beehiiv in the sidebar to delete your API key and turn off automatic sync.
• Uninstalling the add-on stops all access. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Data written to your spreadsheet is yours. Delete the tabs or the file whenever you like.
• To delete purchase or support records, email us at [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Security

All connections to beehiiv, Google and Lemon Squeezy use HTTPS. Your API key is never shown in the sidebar after you save it, and it is not stored in the spreadsheet itself, so other editors of the sheet cannot see it.

Children

Sheetpulse is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify paying customers by email.
